Liquid Vitamins from Liquid Vitality
Ingredients: Vitamin E Fuller Spectrum Mixed Tocopherols

Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin that exists in eight different forms. Each form has its own biological activity, which is the measure of potency or functional use in the body.

Very Important Stuff: This is one major way that Liquid Vitality differs from most other vitamins.

We include a very expensive, full tocopherol (all four tocopherols, not just alpha tocopherol) blend for our Vitamin E. Most vitamin manufacturers use the cheap and ineffective alpha-tocopheryl acetate.

Vitamin E is made of eight different compounds, four tocopherols and four tocotrienols, all eight of which occur naturally in the food that we eat. Most vitamin E supplements contain only alpha-tocopherol.

They should contain, at least, all four tocopherols: alpha-tocopherol, beta-tocopherol, gamma-tocopherol, and delta-tocopherol.

In order to gain the full benefit of vitamin E, you must take as much of it as you can get!

Antioxidants such as vitamin E act to protect your cells against the effects of free radicals, which are potentially damaging by-products of energy metabolism. Free radicals can damage cells and may contribute to the development of cardiovascular disease and cancer.

Studies are underway to determine whether vitamin E, through its ability to limit production of, and damage by, free radicals, might help prevent or delay the development of those chronic diseases. Vitamin E has also been shown to play a role in immune function, in DNA repair, and other metabolic processes.
